Konnect NET is part of Clanwilliam and specialises in connecting insurers with health providers. You may already be familiar with HealthLink, also part of Clanwilliam , whose technology we have incorporated into our solution.
This is a solution integrated into your PMS that replaces PDF versions of insurers’ claim forms and med certs. The digital version is designed to make the process easier and more secure.
When booking or attending an appointment with you, your customer will tell you that they need the form completed, in the same way they would for a PDF form. Their insurer will provide them with written instructions of the form name and how you can access it in your particular PMS.
Simply click on the “[KNL homepage name]” link in the General Services section of the HealthLink Forms page, and then click on “[form name]”. We some simple user guides available here: [link]
Once you have completed the form, you simply hit “[complete]” and the form will be encrypted and sent securely to the insurer directly where relevant. In some cases you will need to give a copy to the patient for them to share the form with the insurer; in these cases, an onscreen prompt will help you do this.
No. It is signed electronically based on your PMS log in details.
On successful form completion, a PDF copy of the form will be automatically stored against the patient record. Depending on your practice software, you will find this under Correspondence Out or Letters. However, you have the option to download a copy manually also, by clicking the “Download/Print” button. You may wish to do this to share a copy with your patient.
